Cooked new onion with soup

2017.4 新玉ねぎの丸ごと煮

≪Ingredients≫serves 3

New onions                       3

Minced chicken                100g

Ginger                              a clove

Broth                              400cc

Cooking wine                   2tbsp

White soy sauce               3tbsp

Mirin                                1tbsp

Salt                                   1tsp

Japanese parsley             a little

Potato flour                      2tbsp

Water                                3tbsp

Love                                  A lot

≪Preparation≫

  1. Remove the outer skin of the onions until they are white.
  2. Put 1 into 50-degree hot water for 20 min. and take it out.
  3. Put chopped ginger, seasonings, minced chicken and love in the broth and cook at medium heat
  4. Add 2 to 3 and boil until the onions become soft
  5. Put the onions onto a plate.
  6. Mix potato flour and water.
  7. Add 6 to the soup until it thickens.
  8. Pour 7 on 5 and put Japanese parsley on top.
