There were a lot of Halloween ornaments in Kura in October.
There were spider, Jack-o-lantern, witch and broom, and so on in the flower bed.
Unfortunately a pumpkin which I wanted to carve to make jack-o-lantern was rotten.

A welcome drink was lemon drink. It had a lot of Vitamin C so students could make many dishes without tiring.
　
I displayed a Halloween candle and ornaments on the center of the table.
There were also a lot of spiders and web in the bathroom.
Some ornaments were hanging from the ceiling.
Students took a lot of pictures wearing Halloween costume and eating Halloween dishes.

Japanese dishes: Boiled Chinese pumpkin dumplings, Steamed pumpkin dumpling,
Pumpkin and dried radish salad, Mushroom rice, Lotus roots soup,
Steamed pear

　
We made skin first and made Chinese dumplings. When we put them in boiling water, the color changed from light yellow to beautiful yellow. Jack-o-lantern steamed pumpkin dumpling was sticky, yellow dried radish was also really nicely colored.
　
Fresh rice and mushroom was extremely delicious. Lotus roots soup and steamed pear were good for dried body in this season.
Afternoon tea class was also Halloween taste.
We made pumpkin scones, spider pumpkin cheese cake, pumpkin focaccia, chestnut bread. We drank sweet potato, chestnut, and pumpkin rooibos tea and butterfly pea’s herb tea with Roselle syrup.

Pumpkin scones were good with clotted cream and green kaya jam. We draw web on the cheese cake. Butterfly pea herb tea changed color from blue to purple, it looked creepy.

People who wanted to eat Halloween food and enjoyed Halloween atmosphere came to Kura not only people who attended the cooking classes.
An English class for adult was also held in Kura.
Kura in October was really exciting.
